About Barnabas Resources

Generosity and Encouragement

In the early days of Christianity, a man named Joseph came alongside the apostles in generosity and support as they began to spread the Good News of Jesus.  Because of his character, Joseph was given the nickname Barnabas, which means "Son of Encouragement."

In the same model of generosity and encouragement, Barnabas Resources was born—an organization dedicated to equipping, encouraging, and empowering nonprofits for Kingdom impact.

Examples of expertise we provide include:

  • Coaching on the immeasurable value of prayer and intercession

  • Clarifying vision, mission, and values

  • Crafting clear position descriptions for staff and board

  • Educating on best practices of successful nonprofits

  • Developing a strategic plan with measurables

  • Creating a case statement

  • Drafting visual and material presentations/brochures, etc.

  • Articulating and implementing goals

  • Measuring ministry impact

  • Engaging board and donors

  • Fundraising, including annual fund and capital appeals

  • Communicating your impact to others/donors

  • Advising on plans for board and leadership succession

Our goal is to strengthen, encourage, guide, and pray for nonprofit leaders and their organizations, propelling you toward greater effectiveness and impact in your ministry.
